After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2018, I began my career as a consultant geologist within the UK quarrying, construction and industrial minerals industries. The changing nature of consultancy work means I amassed experience across a diverse range of extractive operations including limestone, sandstone and granite hard rock quarries, glacial, fluvio-glacial and river terrace superficial deposits, brick clays, dimension stone, silica sand, and opencast gypsum mining.In 2022 I joined Tarmac as a Geologist, with responsibility for operational support to sites across the Midlands region.
