My role included overseeing the development and market launch of the CARESCAPE ONE Patient Monitoring Platform, with responsibilities spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, Regulatory Compliance, and Quality Assurance, including Risk Management and Verification and validation (FDA class II, ISO14971, 13485, 62304).One of my significant achievements was earning the trust of the Hardware team, transforming it into a high-performance unit that consistently met milestones. This collaborative effort resulted in the successful global release of the CARESCAPE ONE product.I also defined a common compute platform based on a System-on-Module approach and prototyped a scalable architecture for medical devices, which laid the foundation for future innovations.Additionally, I identified opportunities for portfolio expansion, such as optimizing a six-lead ECG smart module in collaboration with strategic partners. This effort resulted in a 50% cost reduction and a 50% size reduction, making it suitable for neonatal applications. Subsequently, I secured corporate capital funding from GEHC.
