Primarily responsible for SQL Server 2008/2012 database design, development and performance tuning, including but not limited to creating and managing databases and database objects such as stored procedures, functions, and triggers. I am the lead developer on a team responsible for importing disparate data sources into a SQL Server environment using many SSIS ETL packages. In addition to my own development tasks, I assist other developers on the team and others using our data.

Many responsibilities related to SQL Server 2008 database design, development and performance tuning, including but not limited to creating and managing databases, database files and filegroups, table partitioning, CLR code, stored procedures and scalar and table-valued functions. In addition, I was the secondary DBA assisting with backups, mirroring, replication, disaster recovery, reindexing and other tasks for our team’s 7 servers with 15 terabytes of data. I also assisted and mentored other developers as needed.
