Major tasks during the pre-qualification and tender stage are coordination and advice, review of contract as well as risk management especially for complex projects (private or public). Participation in negotiations and development of strategy based on chances and risks follows up.In construction phase we start with supporting the construction team by providing special trainings and providing support in the preparation, documentation and negotiation of technical claims, drafting contractual correspondence on complex issues and preparation of complicated technical claims. This includes preparation of extension of time (as well help with programme of works) and assessment and quantification of complex; variations. In parallel to the project, we advise in matters of interpreting the construction contract, particularly regarding its programme and cost relevant provisions; as well as its provisions on planning and coordination. In this context, we analyse delays and disruption and their effects on the construction process and assess the specific consequences in terms of time and cost of this event, in close consultation with the project team. The same applies to the assessment of acceleration processes, amended construction programme and a possible delay.
