Driven by my love for community engagement and fostering a love of reading, I serve as a Youth Services Library Associate at Wicomico Public Library, where I design programs that inspire and educate children, teens, and families. From running sensory exploration activities and preschool playgroups to organizing large-scale events like Battle of the Books, I strive to create inclusive and enriching experiences for all.With a background in library services and recent completion of Maryland State Library’s LATI program, I am now pursuing an MLIS to deepen my skills in library science and information management. I also lead initiatives like Teen Sex Ed Workshops and manage social media for our branch, using creative outreach strategies to connect with our community.I believe libraries are more than just books—they are places of connection, learning, and growth.
