I have 16 years of human service/workforce/Leadership experience. I hold a Bachelors in Human Services Management from SUNY, Certification in Herbalism from Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, Usui Reiki Master, Mindfulness Practitioner, Mental Health First Aid and Founder of Chakra Buds. During the Day I am Director of Vocational Services for a non profit serving people with disabilities. I am a member of the NY State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) which provides guidance to the Adult Career and Continuing Educational Services-Vocational Rehabilitation Agency. I am also a member of several regional provider organization groups that engage in statewide advocacy for people with disabilities. My role includes program development, marketing, budgeting and supervision of Vocational Services, Housing Subsidies and Environmental Modifications. I am also a certified work incentives practitioner and able to provide assistance to those who are on benefits and seeking to become more self sufficient. Outside of work you will find me volunteering and promoting wellness in my community. I'm a heart based leader who is mission driven but not afraid to take risks that disrupt old philosophies that create positive sustainable change. I am passionate about people, my community and healthy living.
