Responsible for new business and developing existing client accounts for AbsoluteIT. End to end recruitment services I have also led an on site project managing all of my clients recruitment needs end to end over a period of 6 months successfully placing close to 30 roles.

I was employed as a Business Manager to manage an under performing and under staffed branch, the time frame to turn the branch around was 12mths. In the first two months I billed more permanent revenue than had been billed in the previous year alone.I went on to recruit two experienced recruiters and through aggressive business development won a number of large clients. One of which used approximately 30/40 industrial temps per day, another was a client project to ramp up a call center, recruiting an additional 30 permanent staff in two phases over two quarters. Unfortunately as a number of branches were struggling to reach targets across the UK the decision was made to merge my branch with another in the neighboring town. I decided to opt for voluntary redundancy.

On joining Insight I worked solely on IBM mainframe operations/ technical support & Development. the mainframe market experienced some drastic changes in early 2001/2002 at which time I began to expand my technical coverage and account manage. Placing both contract and permanent staff across all technical infrastructure, development and training. My clients were a variety from financial to IT vendor and professional services, one of which was the largest financial institute at that time.
