From 2015 to 2019, I worked as a PhD researcher at the BioMechanical Engineering Department at Delft University of Technology, focusing on improving needle placement in interventional radiology. My work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, and I presented it at international conferences, earning an award for Best Oral Presentation at the 6th Dutch Conference on Bio-Medical Engineering in 2017.From 2020 to 2022, I conducted postdoctoral research in Nuclear Medicine at Isala Hospital, where I successfully published two articles as the first author.𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡 …... Over time, I provided guidance to over 500 researchers through my online PhD Academy, workshops, and academic writing retreats, working with institutions like Delft University of Technology, Maastricht University, and the University of Twente.𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 …... I did research on the mechanical interaction between needles and tissue, to define clinically relevant design requirements for novel needles.
