As the assistant director for OSE3 I facilitate collaborations between the university and corporate/government worlds. Partnerships have included Ameren, ACEP, A123 Energy Solutions, Boeing, Caterpillar, City Utilities of Springfield, Doe Run and EPRI. These arrangements have proven very beneficial, resulting in the sharing of technology, resources and engineering design.Current projects include management of the Missouri S&T Solar Village and the construction of the Solar Village Microgrid (http://www.renewableenergyworld.com/rea/news/article/2014/03/solar-decathlon-houses-make-up-a-solar-village-to-test-microgrid-technology). I serve as Vice President of Univerdant (a St Louis based green builder's consortium) as well as adviser to the Missouri S&T Solar House Team and Formula SAE Electric Race Team.
