So excited completing my PhD at University of Newcastle School of Law. Major theme is Regulatory Capture - so relevant in today's political, economic and social environment. This research complements my extensive professional experience in Workplace Relations, SHRM and organisational/cultural change. This includes expertise in the development of innovative workplace agreements achieved through collaborative and integrative processes. Also involves leading projects assisting and supporting businesses successfully navigate a complex array of workplace challenges and opportunities. This involves consulting in the government, private, NGO and public sectors.I am a sessional lecture at UoN Business School in a range of post graduate management, WR/HR and leadership subjects.I provide intensive support and guidance to boards and senior leadership teams effectively managing difficult personnel and employment related issues. My consultancy business also provides contemporary training and policy/practical guidance and advice in preventing bullying and harassment in the workplace. It also comprises of the joint development and implementation of innovative industrial instruments.I gain great personal satisfaction supporting local informed communities to in the prevention of alcohol-related violence and other harms. This has required superior public advocacy, negotiation and effective communications skills. Another prerequisite is substantial knowledge and experience with the complex array of liquor-related planning and licensing laws and policies.
