I was a part of the ATLAS experiment, one of the largest international collaborations in the world, at CERN for more than a decade. Starting as a summer student, I enrolled in the graduate program in particle physics at University of Victoria. My work centered around precision measurements of proton-proton collisions. Data analysis was performed using a variety of computational tools written in C++ and Python.Following graduation, I joined the McGill University ATLAS group as a postdoctoral researcher serving as project manager for an ATLAS detector upgrade project. My duties included commissioning and maintaining our lab, supervising graduate students, and ensuring the project's overall success. I'm very proud to announce that the new detector subsystem is at CERN ready to take Large Hadron Collider (LHC) data for the next twenty years.I joined a McGill analysis team, whose goal was to measure the production of the W boson along with two photons in LHC collisions, near the end of my postdoc. My main contribution was the statistical modelling and interpretation. On my last day at McGill, we unblinded our data. I'll update this paragraph soon with our results once we can share it with the public!Today, I'm a proud member of Wyatt AI which allows me work on two of my life's passions: research and sports.
