Manage Tools, hardware, indoor & outdoor garden, electrical, plumbing and building material sourcing for Home Depot in Asia

* Manage Home Depot sourcing for hand tools, air tools & accessories, power tools & accessories, tool storage, compressors in Asia.* Take over additional responsiblity of fasteners, builder's hardware, safety & security & door lock in 2013

* Lead and manage home improvement, home decor and home textile buying team(7 direct reports, buyer & asst buyer) in Metro Cash & Carry China. * Define category strategy and assortment planning, promotional offer and merchandising strategy* Lead key vendor negotiations and build strategic vendor business plan.

* Managing joint buying for sporting goods, toys, hardware, small appliance, car care, gardening for Tesco stores in Asia(600+ stores in Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and China) * Competitive market analysia and customer segamentation, build and drive a common range to leverage scale to maximize cost savings. * Deliver margin according to trade plan and budget.

* Work with overseas buyers to indentify potential sources for direct import, maxmize cost saving for the business. * Managing and coaching a team of merchansiders(6 direct reports)for sporting goods, toys, consumable, hardware & tools, hard home fashion goods. * Work with product development team, engenieers and designers to build up private label hardware and tools, Hard Home Fashion products.
