• Proactively monitor and manage servers 24/7 with approximately 28000 objects over 10 different operation system platforms to avert incidents and ultimately maximize service availability and efficiency.• Service Management with third party companies that run the core business applications.• Manage P1 and P2 incident communication.• Manage BAU communications to key management, IT service teams and Project groups. • Plan, coordinate, and support the resources to implement specific change requests.• Establish and maintain a good relationship with key stakeholders. • Understand the design of both business process and IT system related solutions.• Positive and proactive behaviour in response to incidents and events that arise.

Contracting on the Huxley Migration Project.• Project Management and Infrastructure support during a Project migrating over 1000 users from Dell hardware to HP Desktops and VDI’s and from Lotus Notes 8.5 – Exchange 2010. • Responsible for supporting and updating the MAC environment with CS2 – CS5, Office 2004/2008 – 2011. The MAC estate was then doubled in size and an additional specialist was recruited.• Liaise with third parties to carry out various parts of the project and dealing with Change Management meeting and issue. • Support the Legacy and VMWare Servers, Domino Server, Exchange Server, BES Server, Cisco Call Manager, AD, Windows 7 / XP, MAC’s, HP Desktops, Thin Clients and Laptops.• Project Manager for the successful delivery of two hundred secure remote login tools.

• Key member of the RBS Virtual migration team whose purpose was to move and Support 2000+ users onto a Virtual Desktop environment using VMware tools, AD, HP Thin Client and Avaya telecoms kit • Working and managing various parts of the project with different teams ranging from developers, Market data analysts and finance to ensure all aspects had been tested on the virtual environment before relocating the users.• Time management to ensure that the project was completed to designated time frames. This involved regular participation in progress update meetings and effective problem solving.• Effective delegation of tasks necessary to complete various stages of the project involving other teams within the project such as the Hardware and Facilities team.• Liaising with stake holders and third party providers at all levels, including multiple international clients.• The Virtual environment was created with LINUX and an XP user interface with Outlook, MS Office and various other apps used for Finance, Equities, Market Data, Developers and Call center departments.

• Supporting the EMEA international network infrastructure for 700+ users.• Project managed the Blackberry BES rollout including support of over 200 devices.• Service management and liaising with third party companies such as CCT and HP.• Project Management for the upgrade of the Avaya 500 IP office system.• Source and purchase ongoing IT requirements to resourcefully make savings.

• Supporting PABX and Data network for over 250 local users.• Project Manager for the Lotus Notes Client rollout for 250 users.• Project Manager for the Mayfair office moves. • Project Manager for the ongoing Disaster Recovery site. • Application management for market data applications such as Bloomberg & Reuters. • Involved in weekly Problem management / Incident management meetings.• Management of pre assigned cost centre spend, sourcing and purchasing of I.T equipment.• Provision of 2nd Line desktop support, supporting software such as Windows and Domino Servers, Desktops, AD XP, Office 2003 and Citrix applications.

• Managing a team of ten consisting of service desk and desktop support analysts.• Project Manager for the deployment of Cisco VOIP Switches & 600 phones.• Project management including recruiting a team to implement and rollout 200 Pc’s.• Operations support monitoring the Problem Tracking System to analyze, expose and eradicate the root cause where possible.
