Waikato North Head mines up to 1.2 million tonnes of sand each year. The deposit contains more than 150 million tonnes of ironsand. The Waikato North Head mine processes the ironsand to produce a high grade, primary concentrate. The concentrate is combined with water to produce a slurry and is transported via an 18-km pipeline to the Glenbrook site. Mining Team Leader- Shift responsibility for site operations on 12 hour rotating shift pattern- Safety leadership for staff and contractors on site including job safety analysis, procedure compliance, isolation of equipment and hazard & incident reporting.- People leadership of 7 direct reports including training and development to ensure required competency of team- Management of site operations to ensure compliance with environmental conditions- Coordination of maintenance activities to maximise uptime and production tonnes

Full responsibility for Bombay Quarry operations including production, development, managed fill, sales and on site IANZ accredited laboratory.
