As the award-winning Vittoria Group owner, I have dedicated my life to bringing authentic Italian cuisine to Scotland.Taking over Vittoria on the Walk from my father, Alberto Senior, in 1993, I’ve grown the Vittoria Group into a celebrated family of eight of Edinburgh’s most loved eateries, including Divino Enoteca, Bertie’s Proper Fish and Chips, and the soon-to-open Landys Restaurant on the Royal Mile.My philosophy is simple: serve exceptional food, deliver outstanding service, and create memorable dining experiences. This approach has earned the group 2 AA Rosettes and over 25 national awards, and I proudly pass it on to my team of 280 staff, over half of whom are Italian.As the son of Italian immigrants, I take great pride in promoting Italian culture and hospitality. I am honoured to have been named a Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy (Cavaliere), which recognises my contributions to Italian prestige abroad.With my wife Angela and our two sons, Alberto and Leandro, we continue to uphold the family spirit that defines the Vittoria Group.

  As Chairman of the Vittoria Group, I have spent over three decades transforming a family business into a cornerstone of Edinburgh's dining scene, celebrated for its authentic Italian cuisine and warm hospitality.Building on my father's legacy, Alberto Senior, I took over Vittoria on the Walk in 1993. I expanded it into eight award-winning restaurants, including Divino Enoteca, Bertie’s Proper Fish and Chips, and the soon-to-open Landys Restaurant on the Royal Mile.My vision for Vittoria has always been guided by three core principles: exceptional food, outstanding service, and creating memorable dining experiences. This dedication has earned the Vittoria Group numerous accolades, including 2 AA Rosettes and over 25 national awards.As the son of Italian immigrants, I am deeply committed to preserving and promoting Italian culture.
