Little did I know that a recruitment attempt by a Sales Manager at my gym, would turn into a 30 year+ career in the insurance business. It has been an exciting and exhilarating ride, for sure, and most of it in the challenging B2B environment. So, how do I sum up my daytime job? Helping Agencies, Brokers, Business Owners and Human Resource and Accounting Management 'build stronger bridges' with employees. This is accomplished through more competitive benefits education and creative ancillary packages, as well as, enrollment strategies to greatly impact employee engagement and participation. My track record has resulted in two positive outcomes:1) Insurance Carrier/Agents—substantially increasing agency and regional/divisional manager production goals and corporate bonuses. Improving the skills of sales people and enrollers. 2) Small, Mid and Large Employer Groups—Strengthening benefits packages, delivery methods and managing HR projects. On many occasions we have increased participation in HR benefit programs upwards of 50% and in some cases, more than 500% over current in-force programs. Ultimately, I love to help people, Carriers, Agents, Managers and Leaders, talk about and achieve their goals. If others win, I win. Whether at work, at church or assisting a local mission in the city, it brings me great satisfaction and fulfillment. With all of this said, my faith in God and my family make me tick more than anything else. I'm so thankful that both are in my life. I couldn't do the rest without their love, relationships, guidance and support.
