In November 1999, SAP Fieldglass was founded to transform how companies find and manage contingent labor. The HR Open Standards Consortium is the only independent, non-profit, volunteer-led organization dedicated to the development and promotion of a standard suite of specifications to enable human resource related data exchanges. Our Vision:•Enable innovation by allowing employers, government and software vendors to leverage flexible, comprehensive, and free sets of HR specifications; and •Be globally recognized as the community and leading provider of specifications that enable interoperability between HR systems.Our Mission:•To lead the ongoing development of robust, extensible, global HR interoperability standards enabling easy-to-implement, time- and cost-effective integration of HR systems.•To expand and engage the community to share experiences and expertise for the betterment of the community. •To collaborate with other standards organizations to ensure interoperability and business alignment. The HR Open Standards Consortium is driven by the needs and priorities of its members. Any member can propose that the Consortium undertake a standards activity. If the proposal is accepted, specifications are created and/or updated using a documented, transparent and open collaborative process. All specifications are approved by the Consortium's board of directors before being released.

 Implemented Dell Boomi for mapping integrations and designed standard integration data loads, replacing the need for custom development. Assisted developers debugging issues. Lead and trained support group in troubleshooting issues. Assisted it responding to RFP requests. Designed REST Web Services to automate 98% of supplier transactions. Designed document web portal for developer documentation. IQNavigator won the Silver American Business Award (Stevie), and the Bronze International Award in 2013 for the Best Human Capital Management Solution for my web service designs.  I am currently on the Technical Steering Committee and Board of Directors of The HR Open Standards Consortium.

When starting with IQNavigator in March, 2012, all inbound and outbound integrations between our VMS and client applications were created custom. My primary task was to design standard APIs or integrations. After extensive research, I discovered an HR industry standard format for exchanging HR information, appropriately named HR-XML. Using these standards, I designed RESTful Web Service APIs to replace or accompany standard batch integration. Shortly after, in order to communicate how to use these services, I designed our developer portal, which won the Silver Stevie Award in 2013 for the Best Human Capital Management Solution. I am currently on the Board of Directors for HR Open Standards.

Key Results:Re-Engineered Accounts Payable software to gain efficiencies. The company went from over 250 staff members entering vendor invoices to about 75, a large cost savings.Identified and eliminated deficiencies in Month-End G/L closing procedures which resulted in a 75% time savings.Identified deficiencies in the Credit Review process and was able to cut the number of order reviews from the Credit Department from 40,000 orders a day to about 8,000.Implemented change in costing method from a Standard Loaded Cost to Cost Averaging when valuing and costing Inventory resulting in more accurate profit reporting.Gathered and assessed needs from internal business units; created custom solutions to resolve issues and developed functional specifications for IT group.Automated previously manual, time-consuming processes to drive gains in data tracking/accuracy, workgroup efficiency and profitability.

Key Results:Helped introduce a new, reproducible software development methodology that contributed to higher-quality product releases and a 27% reduction in errors.Managed a team that ported Legacy environment to a Windows-based, client/server solution. Efforts averted the threatened loss of customers who were transitioning to Windows and provided a more user-friendly GUI. Championed the implementation of coding reviews that detected programming errors early in the development process, accelerating product go-to-market time by more than 25%.

Implemented, trained, and customized DRC's Distribution ERP System for more than 50 companies in different industries.

Consulting with more than 30 companies to analyze and design new solutions in deficient processes. Worked with over 30 different companies implementing automated solutions and designing/searching for software to meet the needs. To name a few, Sunsweet (FDA Regulations), DuPont NEN (Nuclear Medicine), Huffy, PrimeSource, and HMS Direct - Procter and Gamble Distributor (FDA Dentistry).

Managed all aspects of IT. Networking multi-site infrastructures, enhancements to software, and implementation of software packages in key areas.
