    When starting with IQNavigator in March, 2012, all inbound and outbound integrations between our VMS and client applications were created custom. My primary task was to design standard APIs or integrations. After extensive research, I discovered an HR industry standard format for exchanging HR information, appropriately named HR-XML. Using these standards, I designed RESTful Web Service APIs to replace or accompany standard batch integration. Shortly after, in order to communicate how to use these services, I designed our developer portal, which won the Silver Stevie Award in 2013 for the Best Human Capital Management Solution. I am currently on the Board of Directors for HR Open Standards.
