ACL are affiliated with Secondbite, a not-for-profit company that rescue and collect food and other goods from producers and supermarkets that are unsalable, or would otherwise be thrown out, and get it to people in need via servicing charities and food banks across Australia. ACL is one of the processing warehouses that collect, sort, store and distribute food and clothing to charities. In addition, ACL are affiliated with Train2Learn, a registered training organisation that trains disadvantaged people in work skills, helps them gain relevant qualifications, and helps ready them to re-enter the workforce .I was 2iC supervisor at the Kilsyth branch. My duties included general warehousing and processing operations: receiving goods, processing, storage & managing inventory (frozen, refrigerated and dry store), building large orders & pick/pack small orders, and distribution of food and other goods via organising deliveries and servicing customers for pickup. In addition to co-running the warehouse, I was also responsible for, and involved in, design and implementation of warehousing operations & operational procedures, inventory tracking, reporting and management, administration, occupational health & safety, supervision & management of floor staff and trainees, and training support & mentoring.

My role was a general on-site technician and handyman at both the ABC radio Southbank and ABC TV Ripponlea buildings, as well as other satellite ABC owned buildings around Melbourne.Duties included troubleshooting & assessment, carrying out building repairs or organising and supervising building repairs, servicing ABC workers fixing or installing furniture, installation or removal of AV equipment and office fittings, managing storage, supplies and tool workshops on various sites,In addition, i was also responsible for general upkeep & maintenance. Some of which included servicing light fittings, painting, gardening, rubbish removal from dock into dumpsters for pickup, distribution of internal mail and parcels, servicing water bottles, running service based errands and organising pickup or delivery of materials and store goods as well as various other duties.
