Attended DB2 Upgrade meetings held by the Project Manager and shared project plans, 3rd party software upgrades (Omegamon, QMF, BMC Tools, unload, reload image copy). Presented feedback on issues and concerns presented by the SBS team to the Project Manager.ServiceNow request for the SBS New User ID System. Built framework for new system flow and list of approvers for each phase. Created functional specifications to streamline and simplify the process. Mainframe Batch improvement. Identified and recommended procedural changes to improve and reduce daily and monthly batch cycles while reducing errors. Successfully reduced change requests due to errors from 3 to 4 a week to just 1 or 2 a month. SBS Modernization Project. Migrated legacy PowerBuilder application to .Net. Member of team reviewing 4 proposals for modernization project. Participated in meetings on design, vendor selection, strategic vision, and overall cost and impact to the business. Collaborated with team on vendor selection, cost-benefit analysis of proposals and final vendor selection.
