I am a former senior executive turned entrepreneur with a proven track record in building and developing teams, creating winning strategies and delivering results. I'm passionate, driven and competitive – and I use these attributes to instill in others a desire to win, a drive for strong results and persistence in raising the bar to deliver profitable sales and market share growth. I take pride in creating a culture that people are excited to be a part of.My first career role was at Target as a business analyst for the licensed sports apparel business. I worked with every major professional sports league as well as the Collegiate Licensing Company to ensure Target’s guests had the right product at the right time in the right stores. Later in my career I once again had the opportunity to lead this business as division manager for the toys and sporting goods divisions. Licensed sports apparel sales had declined to less than half of what they were when I had the business earlier in my career. My team and I revitalized the strong relationships that Target once had with the leagues, developed an aggressive growth strategy which doubled the sales in just over a year, and eventually tripling sales from where we started.My last role at Target was as President of Target Canada, leading the company’s first ever international expansion. Our family moved to Toronto, and in the more than three years in the role our team built a new supply chain infrastructure from scratch, developed a brand new technology platform, hired almost 20,000 team members, and opened 124 stores in a 9-month timeframe, the largest one-year store opening in Target’s history.I have recently embarked on a new venture, creating Fisher Sports Group and pursuing the passion I have always had for sports. Having grown up playing baseball, football, and hockey, and now coaching sports, I understand what it takes to win as a team and achieve success. I’m excited for sports to once again be my career focus.
