Selected to lead the Math team in an Elementary School servicing grades Pre-K-4. I was responsible for attending program coordinator meetings with district curriculum director and building principal. Irelayed information and goals from program coordinator meetings with the director of curriculum to the math team of teachers in grades Pre-K-4 in a prompt, professional and positive way.I led monthly math meetings with Elementary math team based on district goals and initiatives.I kept meeting agenda and notes organized in a google drive format.Researched and taught to become knowledgeable in NY and TN State standards for math and multiple curriculums.

I was selected out of a candidate pool to lead the Kindergarten team to be collaborative using clear communication, positive feedback, data driven goals and team building activities. This is a team that was formerly unilateral. I developed an organized meeting schedule with a weekly agenda in google drive. I am responsible for creating agendas and facilitating two weekly team meetings. One for planning and the other for analyzing assessments and using data to inform instruction. Agendas are created and housed in google suite as needed; google docs and google sheets. Collaboratively with the team, a pacing calendar was created as a scope and sequence of curriculum planning throughout the school year. I led the team to align the curriculum to NYS State Standards by creating “need to know” and “nice to know” content by vertically examining learning at the grade levels above and below Kindergarten. I meet with the principal and director of curriculum often to solve problems that would arise, then would relay information to the Kindergarten team in a prompt, professional and organized manner.
