• Selected as Peace Corps Malawi representative and curriculum developer at the 2017 Grassroots Soccer Skillz Guyz curriculum development workshop in Cape Town, South Africa • Procured U.S. grant funding of $7,500 for Grassroots Soccer PC Skillz, Skillz Guyz intervention as well as Let Girls Learn Initiative Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) curriculum • Implemented the first ever Skillz Guyz Grassroot Soccer pilot intervention with 25 boys, reported critical feedback for future curricula• Created and directed a Grassroot Soccer female empowerment camp with 200 girls and 25 facilitators, funded by $5,000 from Peace Corps SPA grants • Co-directed a Grassroot Soccer female empowerment camp with 330 girls and 17 facilitators, funded by $4,000 from the Let Girls Learn Initiative• Supported training and certification of 135 Peace Corps Volunteers and their counterparts on Grassroot Soccer methodology, HIV and malaria epidemiology, and facilitation skills for three trainings on three unique Grassroot Soccer curriculums• Supported training and certification of 16 CorpsAfrica Volunteers and 15 counterparts on Grassroot Soccer’s HIV youth awareness and prevention curriculum to establish partnership between Grassroot Soccer and CorpsAfrica • Coordinated implementation efforts and data collection using Salesforce data entry system for Grassroot Soccer’s curricula

• Peace Corps Volunteer serving in Malawi from June 2015 to August 2017. Accepted as Education Extension Volunteer serving from August 2017 to August 2018. • Taught Biology to 300 students at Kalowa Community Day Secondary School in a rural village in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world, during one of the largest food security crisis in its history. • Provided Biology, Health, HIV Epidemiology and a Girls Financial Literacy Courses to 15 impoverished girl students, including the necessary business skills to start their own small-scale business in a severely under-resourced and understaffed learning environment • Led “Student Friendly Schools” workshop to orient teachers and administration on literacy building activities, instruct administration and teachers on gender equitable teaching practices, and promote positive discipline measures• Directed and implemented a sustainable Community Development Program for 12 community members designed to teach community development, needs assessment tools, project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation • Introduced an Orange Flesh Sweet Potato Project, training 75 farmers in three local villages with youth volunteers on proper planting, multiplication, and nutritional cooking of sweet potatoes. Established mother plot by securing land, planting, harvesting, and multiplying to improve nutrition among women, children, and people living with HIV • Career-counseled 6 secondary school students and secured financing through fundraising for the successful transition of the school’s first three students from the village to university

Liberia

Peace Corps Volunteer June 2014 to October 2014 in Liberia, West Africa. Taught summer school 11th grade biology and promoted malaria awareness and prevention and gender equality until being early evacuated due to the Ebola epidemic.
