I am currently studying at Griffith University online, full-time, undertaking a bachelor in Commerce, majoring in accounting. Throughout my education I have always had a passion for numbers and providing people with the best advice possible, hence my chosen career path in accounting and finance. My interests include budgeting, preparing financial reports, data analysis and decision making. Upon completion of my degree, I aim to leap into the world of accountancy, working my way up to my dream occupation of becoming a financial controller. The dream is to one day work in a hotel or other large organisation and I plan to achieve this through my hard work, determination, passion and drive. I have worked in the hospitality industry all my working career starting off working in a hotel as a kids club attendant, at a Boost Juice Store and now my local Woolworths as the assistant bakery manager. Working in these positions has forced me to think faster, work under pressure and ensure I’m always providing quality service.
