The pursuit of knowledge is something I aim to incorporate into every aspect of my life, whether it is during work or my spare time. I am looking for a balance, a career that will use my current knowledge base and continue to expand it. My university studies allowed me to develop skills I believe will be beneficial in all professional atmospheres: research; creativity; an understanding of the written word; the ability to voice my findings or opinions in a clear, distinct and respectful manner, no matter the content, in both written and verbal forms; ability to translate complex data into common language; a necessity for organization; and well developed leadership skills. My work experience has shown me my propensity toward technical work. I have developed skills on and off the job in the technical field that are both specialized and generalized, and I believe these are a starting point for a career where I feel I will make a great contribution. In my spare time I love to make a wide variety of crafts, garden, read, go to concerts, and take my dog on hikes. I grew up in Boise Idaho and am in love with the Pacific Northwest, but I would love to continue my travels around the globe where I can enjoy the culture and history that the world has to offer.
