As a dedicated advocate for military families, I leverage my unique personal journey as a military brat, veteran, spouse, and caregiver to foster strong, inclusive communities for the 4,300+ members I serve as Chapter Director of Blue Star Families of Missouri. With over 20 years of experience in project management, event coordination, and community outreach, I excel at building collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, military personnel, and community leaders.My expertise in public speaking, writing, and storytelling allows me to share compelling narratives that resonate with my audience, while empowering military spouses, veterans, and children through workshops and speaking engagements focused on resilience, healing, and self-growth.As a skilled volunteer manager and team leader, I am proud of the hundreds of events we have hosted, thanks to my amazing volunteers who have contributed over 2,000 hours in 2022 alone. My relationship-building and networking abilities enable me to forge meaningful connections and create impactful collaborations.I bring a versatile skillset to the table, including problem-solving, adaptability, emotional intelligence, empathy, project management, organization, and fundraising.
