Responsible for the technical direction and building a new team that built and released the version 1.0 of App World in six months. Responsible for end to end service, including design, development of BlackBerry client and server infrastructure, deployment, maintenance, relationship and integration with partners (PayPal, Digital River). Led subsequent releases up to version 2.0Managed development team responsible for RIM’s Social Networking Applications. Managed the development team and led technical direction of RIM’s first media (music, photos, videos) synchronization application for PC Users- BlackBerry Media Sync. Created initial prototypes and built a team that launched BlackBerry Unite- an application for PCs to synchronize media and collaboration between small groups of users.

Managed the development team responsible for BlackBerry Maps client application and Location Based Services infrastructure that provided mapping data, driving directions, address lookup, local search, GPS ephemeris data to all BlackBerry devices

Managed a team of eight software developers responsible for the GroupWise BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). Responsible for the technical direction and integration with other BES Services. The product was based off technology that was acquired from previous company- JB Technologies Inc. The GroupWise BES and was launched in January 2006 and is still available today and has an install base of over five thousand enterprises.

Technical Lead of a two-person company that was acquired by Research In Motion in March 2004. Created mobile applications for BlackBerry including MobileStash- the leading Novell GroupWise Email and PIM Synchronization product. Developed most of the core technology, including: the BlackBerry application for RIM 950/957 pager and handhelds in C++ and RIM’s first java devices, GroupWise Synchronization service in Visual Basic, routing service and web admin portals in Perl
