My current position is Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) Services Manager for the PMBC Program, with an emphasis on business services. PMBC provides support to existing Michigan companies through various new tools and initiatives to help them grow and prosper. There are four primary components to PMBC business to business initiative: 1) Business to Business network to enable connections between all Michigan businesses; 2) Recruitment of companies to participate as “buyers” in the program to increase purchasing and procurement in Michigan; 3) Recruitment of business firms to become pro bono service providers to support Michigan early stage companies; and 4) Supplier events with large Michigan and out-of-state companies to introduce new suppliers, enable connections between companies, and encourage future Michigan locations.

My position is responsible for managing number three above including the overall program management, recruitment of Michigan firms as service providers, and increasing participation from Michigan early stage businesses. Serves as subject matter expert for number one and overall support of the B2B directory. I also assist and cross support all of the other core activities in the Pure Michigan Business Connect initiative.

Nar-Anon is a 12 Step fellowship for the friends and family of drug addicts. When we fully understand and accept that addiction is a disease, that it is both mental and physical, and that we are powerless over it, we become ready to learn a better way to live.

During our meetings you will find nothing but support, friendship, understanding, education and love. This is a NO judgement zone and we come together to help each other as we deal with the addict(s) in our lives.

We meet to - learn Addiction is very much an disease, an illness and to:

- replace despair with hope
- improve the family attitude
- help regain self-confidence

I started Hello Courage! in June of 2012 in honor of our son Kody, who passed at the age of 23 while in a 24 hour rehabilitation facility. Someone snuck in and provided Kody with a "dirty" syringe that was laced with rat poison. We've never made excuses that he did not choose after 46 days of being clean to use that needle, BUT when you are in a secured facility where you are supossed to be SAFE and WELL no one should have been able to get it inside those doors to him. 1 in every 300 recovering addicts stays clean their first time through rehab. Ko was just not ready for the temptation and now he is gone forever. ShineOn KodyKo Shine On. ---- No One Fights Alone!
