CurrentTrace Klein has more than 12 years of experience providing financial consulting services to attorneys and their clients in several major civil and criminal litigation matters as well as matters before the International Trade Commission. He is based in Boerne, Texas working under the Dallas office. The majority of Mr. Klein’s matters involve intellectual property disputes including patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and trademark infringement. He also has experience with accounting fraud, class-action lawsuits, general business disputes including breach of contract claims, as well as securities and white-collar crime issues.Mr. Klein has extensive experience in financial and damage modeling related to reasonable royalty calculations, lost profits, and unjust enrichment as part of multiple intellectual property disputes. Mr. Klein has also been involved with multiple International Trade Commission 337 investigations, performing a variety of financial and economic analyses related to domestic industry, public interest, remedy, and bonding.Mr. Klein’s experience includes running all aspects of damage cases for multiple top clients in multiple industries. Mr. Klein has experience in the high-tech fields of cellular technology and chipsets, semiconductors, search engine technology, and wireless and networking technology. In addition, Mr. Klein has been involved in several medical and health care related cases including cases involving medical devices, surgical procedures and accessories, and scientific research tools. Mr. Klein also has experience related to a number of consumer services including in the airline and automotive industries and a variety of consumer products from garage door openers and lightbulbs to board games and fish finders.
