My professional experience has covered teaching strategies and skills such as teamwork in the different year groups (EYFS and Key Stage 1). My role as a teaching assistant evolved over my 14 years of experience. I have been involved in children's learning and development through 1-1 support, interventions, and supporting team teaching with the teacher. My personality is often called infectious. I am a cheerful and supportive team member who consistently wants to achieve better outcomes for myself and the children, parent and staff team. I have worked collaboratively through critical reflection. During my support staff role have taken on extra duties, for example, after school clubs, teaching the class when staff are absent/PPA cover. I only left my last role due to my final year of studies, due to the workload of working part-time (3 days a week), an evening class and three days at University; it came with a heavy heart as I am passionate about working with children.
