My passion is teaching adult learners in an online environment, both asynchronously and synchronously, from the perspective of Social Emotional Learning. I believe I am called to helping non-traditional students successfully transition to online learning when they have obstacles to overcome, whether academic and/or personal. I excel at motivating others to believe in their potential and guide them in finding ways to tap into their own inner resources and develop their talents and gifts, leveraging them for success. I have over 30 years experience in higher education, both on-ground and online. I have served as a retention specialist, counselor, advisor, instructor, and facilitator in numerous capacities. I am eager to partner with and positively impact as many students as I can - one student at a time.
