About Tracey Meiners

Accomplished leader with an extensive list of successes. Offer strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Results-oriented, decisive leader comfortable working in an environment demanding multitasking, attention to detail and strong organizational aptitude. Trustworthy, ethical and discreet. Looking for new opportunities in industries where I can leverage my experience and solve interesting new challenges.I have a lengthy career in discovering customer needs and turning them into solutions that are valuable for both the customer and the provider. In my younger days, I drove to customer locations and presented the value of early technology. Most recently, as senior management, I taught new team members why customer value is important (how to discover it - not just assume the answer), and how to develop a project that will deliver that value for both customer and company. Throughout, I have always enjoyed the one on one with customers and team members; this is where I excel. I have held many positions from working through college in the factory shop, to entrepreneur, to agronomist, to plant controller, and finally as a major product line manager. The teams I have led at Case New Holland (CNH) have compiled an extensive list of successes over the last 26 years. Among those successes are the well-known Helping Plants Thrive course development, the highly successful 255 field cultivator, 335 vertical tillage tools, and the industry leading 875 ripper. In recent years I led the Soil Management group into the precision agriculture era with the launch of Soil Command.

  • Cnh Industrial
Customer Value & Applications Test Site & Benchmarking Coordinator
    Cnh Industrial Oct 2022 - Feb 2024
    United States
Coordinated land availability on company-controlled property for internal test requirements. Developed an up-to-date process for gathering "day in the life" customer experiences during their important agricultural missions. Put in place long term lease agreements and field management strategies with landowners. Plus, I acquired a fleet of new competitive equipment in coordination with the key project initiatives from global product groups for the creation of a central benchmarking site. These tasks were completed, then this position eliminated in recent cost restructuring. I am now looking for my next opportunity with a new company.
  • Cnh Industrial
    Soil Management Platform Manager
    Cnh Industrial Jan 2012 - Oct 2022
    Goodfield, Illinois
Senior manager responsible for the success of CNH’s (Case IH/New Holland) soil management products. This role oversaw the product specialists, the design and quality engineers, and the cost controls/budget of the product line. During this time l led many business initiatives and major product launches. Some of the most industry influential launches were the Case IH 875 ripper, the new 255 field cultivator, the line of 335 vertical tillage tools, and the launch of the Soil Command precision technology for tillage. I also was assigned to be on the management team of the overseas acquisition and integration of the Kongskilde tillage group in Poland and Sweden. I spent many months working in those locations mentoring the respective teams in the transition from a small foreign business into the large CNH system. After 10 years in this role, I was looking for a new/different challenge and moved to a brand-new customer experience gathering team.
  • Cnh Industrial
    Soil Management Product Specialist
    Cnh Industrial Jan 2007 - Dec 2011
    Goodfield, Illinois
As the product specialist, I was tasked with gathering customer product needs, translating them into product development improvement targets, and proposing and leading product development projects from start to launch. I was also tasked with monitoring the product during its life cycle to ensure it met quality, share of market, and profitability targets. Key products launched under me were the Case IH 870 ripper and the 330 vertical tillage tools. This position made me an expert in CDPD methods (Customer Driven Product Development) to gather both in-person and surveyed customer needs and transform them into new product programs. I was promoted to the Platform Manager role after this.
  • Cnh Industrial
    Plant Controller
    Cnh Industrial Jan 2004 - Dec 2006
    Goodfield, Illinois
In a continuation of developing my Financial and Managerial Accounting skills, I took the job of Manufacturing and Soil Product Development controller at the Goodfield, Illinois manufacturing plant. This job entailed performing the Controller duties for a multimillion dollar vertically integrated large machinery production facility for a large ($100M+) product line, plus overseeing the value propositions of new product development projects and tracking the actual spend against budget. After time in this role, I was offered a position on the Soil Management platform management team due to my agronomy and financial experience.
  • Cnh Industrial
    Project Financial Analyst
    Cnh Industrial Jan 2002 - Dec 2003
    Goodfield, Illinois
As a change of pace and to stop traveling most days of the year due to having small children, I took the role of the project financial analyst for the Soil Management product development team and the role of the Goodfield manufacturing plant capital asset accountant. The capital asset role was similar to the role I had at the Growmark FS facilities involving gathering new requests, managing the business cases, navigating the approval process, and setting up the assets. The project financial analyst role was very enjoyable due to building and evaluating all the new product proposals with the working teams, plus participating in all team meetings and as one of the key team presenters to management for project approvals. After this role, I was promoted to Goodfield plant controller.
  • Cnh Industrial
    Research Agronomist
    Cnh Industrial Mar 1998 - Dec 2001
    Goodfield, Illinois
I was hired into this position to help drive the adoption of precision technology within the former DMI and its new owner Case IH (soon to be CNH). I worked under the legendary Bill Preller and Ivan Rieke as mentors in how to gather and promote customer value. Two others and I were responsible for setting up small randomized experimental plot designs in a dozen regions across the agriculture areas in North America. We implemented different farming practices including competitive tools in these plots to determine which gave the most value in additional farm profit for that region. We used the technology of the day including satellite photography, GIS software, GPS, and new precision technology from Veris, AgLeader, John Deere, and CNH. We also developed with third parties new weather data stations, soil compaction and density devices, soil moisture detectors, and soil health measurement standards. We were the team providing the information behind the Case IH Helping Plants Thrive educational series taught to many customers across the world. The apex of this team's data gathering was to feed a SAS model with 3 years of thousands of lines of statistical data to find what the main drivers of higher crop yields were for each region. This was successful and still confidential within CNH.
  • Agrem
    Founder Agricultural Technology Business
    Agrem Jan 1994 - Mar 1998
    Bloomington, Illinois, United States
This was a startup business by myself and a few other persons to jump into the beginning of the precision technology industry in agriculture. We all contributed different skill sets from my knowledge of rate controllers, GPS, and agriculture software to others' skills in software development and computer hardware construction. We promoted, installed, and serviced many of the first wave of yield monitors, GPS systems, and GIS software throughout Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Arkansas. We also were early testers and users of field computers and GPS for soil sampling and field tile installation. After a few years the equipment manufacturers started installing and servicing this technology themselves which changed our business model to mostly agriculture software and field tile pattern design. I left the business and decided to move on.
