I started my teaching career in 2004 when I trained as an SEN teacher. I then went on to work in a mainstream Primary School. In 2008 I decided to return to the school that I trained in and have worked within the Secondary department since. In 2012 I carried out a PLD in Specific Learning Difficulties alongside an AMBDA qualification which meant that I was able to diagnose Dyslexia. I went on to have 2 children which meant that my career took a back seat. I did go back to teach part-time for 6 years and now work full-time. I am passionate about Outdoor Learning and would love to eventually set up my own provision which supports pupils with SEN.
