• Responsible for 10-12 Managed Pubs.

South East

• 6 month contract to assist in the launch of Peters Pies and Food offer into the On Trade market.
• Developing existing business within Free Trade sector.
• Building a relationship with individual pubs right through to regional brewers and pubcos.
• Working closely with the Commercial Director to produce a personal pie range for Fullers Brewery.

Surrey

• Responsible for managing almost 60 outlets in the Enterprise Inns leased estate in Windsor, Eton, Staines and Hounslow area.
• Knowledge of pub operations in London, Middlesex, Surrey, Berkshire, and Hampshire.
• Preparing and implementing an annual pub strategy plan.
• Maximising the company’s income streams and the return on capital employed at each outlet.
• Conducting regular business review meetings with each retailer on a graded call cycle.
• Proposing and managing capital investment programmes within the estate to improve return on capital and increase revenue.

Surrey

• Joined C-T as the first direct sales person for the Vanguard leased estate within Allied-Domecq.
• Built sales of core brands and gained sales of C-T products on non-tied ranges, including draught beer, cider, minerals, wines and spirits.
• As a direct result of the increased sales achieved within Vanguard South, other customer development managers were recruited to support the Midlands and the North.
• Transferred to National Sales in January 1998 following the re-structuring of Carlsberg-Tetley after the sale of Allied-Domeqc’s shares to Carlsberg AS.
• Responsible for around 200 independent outlets, members of national buying groups and leisure groups within the South of London, and parts of Surrey and Kent. Outlets include pubs, members clubs, sports centres and.
• Gaining sales of C-T brands and new accounts against competition from other brewers. Supporting accounts through promotions, merchandising, technical service requirements and joint-investment developments.

Surrey

• Personal sales of beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables to pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs.
• Revived dormant accounts and recruited new customers, as well as building strong business relationships with existing accounts.
• Introduced new drinks and brands, promoted special offers and encouraged customers to purchase a wider range suited to their outlet and customers.

Wandsworth

• Attended Youngs Brewery training course for Trainee Managers.
• Responsible for cellar management, stock control and purchasing.
• Completed accounts records, till reconciliation and banking of takings.
• Organised functions, trained new staff and managed the bar.
