My portfolio included six pet hotels located across 4 states as well as the Hanrob Vocational Education Centre and Dog Training Services, provided under the Hanrob RTO. I reported directly to the CEO. Responsibilities included:- Leadership - Employee Engagement & Performance Management- Reporting and Communication - Asset Management - Workplace Safety- Cost Management - Customer Engagement & Customer Complaint Management- Facility Sales, local marketing & eventsAchievements included: The design and implementation of a new product called Hanrob Pet Health Cover. This product offers the customer complimentary & immediate veterinary treatment during a pets stay, ensuring both peace of mind for owners who may be on holidays and out of range; peace of mind for staff who will immediately seek vet consults; and offers the best possible care to our pet guests. The implementation of this product relied on my engagement and contracting of discount veterinarian services close to each of our facility locations.

Explore Sailing offers daily experiences for retail and corporate sailing adventures on 84feet long America’s Cup yachts on Sydney Harbour. I reported directly to the Australian and New Zealand owners. My charter included 1. to promote and co-ordinate the daily sailing and events operation to maximise local sales 2. efficiently and safely operate all vessels, and 3. administer all necessary day to day activities whilst maintaining a direction that promotes team work internally, with a favourable product externally. Responsibilities included:- Retail sales, marketing and event business development- Quality customer service. - Financial processing and activities- Asset & Capital Management, both base and yachts- Compliance to standard operating procedures & WHS- Recruitment, training, award compliance, duty of care and staff development.- The fiscal responsibility included:- Sign off Accounts Payable, Receivable & Payroll with HQ in NZ- Revenue generation, via agents, partners, direct consumers, event managers, media, social channels and national & international industry bodies. - Revenue generation, via yacht branding, merchandise sales, catering, cross-hire opportunities and sailing program partnerships. - expense management- Compliance with Maritime survey's, workers compensation, insurance for both land and sea coverageAchievements included: Contracting with Tour East Group for an asian sailing event over four days on Sydney Harbour, involving 400 delegates, worth over $500,000 in revenue to Explore Sailing, and engaging the services of local yachts and sailors, and therefore contributing funds to the local industry.

1. Contract with Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority: a commissioned project to conduct a Feasibility Study into the possibility of transforming a derelict heritage property into a temporary event facility whilst the Sydney Convention Centre at Darling Harbour was closed due to a rebuild. The Study proved that this initial government proposal would not be feasible, based on financial and logistics criteria.2. Contract with Mint Underwriting Group: Mint Underwriting was established to consolidate six IAA underwriting businesses, with the view that the move would maximise the agencies buying power, efficiencies and ensure they would offer the very best value. This start-up venture needed a website, marketing collateral and engagement at Insurance trade events. I created a brief, engaged a website designer, and launched the site within 2 months. I engaged a graphic artist and collateral was launched to the market place. I organised Mint Underwriting to launch themselves at one national and one international trade event prior to my contract completion.

Managing a team of 4 in media, sales, marketing and events, this was a 12 month maternity contract where I reported directly to the CEO.The RMB is responsible for managing and developing Mt Buller & Mt Stirling which includes the wide range of on-mountain stakeholders as well as Traditional Owners, off-mountain communities & businesses, local & state government departments. Stakeholder management was a primary focus for this role, as we were collaboratively responsible for selling and marketing the mountain’s products, services and events, in budget, for maximum return, in collaboration with Mt Buller Ski Lifts team. Achievements: I am proud to have become an invited member to join and contribute to Snow Australia’s Marketing Committee; Mt Buller’s Marketing Co-operative Group; and the Mt Buller Sales & Promotions Committee.
