Primarily responsible for the running and maintenance of the Microsoft Technology Centre (MTC) in Edinburgh, used for software and device demonstration sessions. I worked closely with colleagues from a wide range of business groups and Microsoft Partners in helping key stakeholders solve their business problems, developing the right solutions for them using the Microsoft stack.Main duties:- Responsible for the MTC's on-prem datacentre and Azure private cloud- Delivered and assisted with Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) sessions- Liaised with colleagues in pre-sales situations, mainly focusing on Office 365- Additionally advised on Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V and System Center- Delivered hardware demonstrations both in the office and at regular trade events- Worked closely with hardware partners to deliver Skype Room System sessions- Maintained a good working relationship with stakeholders and Microsoft Partners

The first Student Champion for Edinburgh Napier's Connect group, which is part of the Scotland wide Interconnect network. Primarily based at Edinburgh Napier, the role involves promoting the group within the university's School of Computing and developing activities and events whilst liaising with staff and students.Interconnect is an organisation for women studying SET subjects in Scotland. It aims to offer women students social contact and support, contact with recent graduates and qualified women and careers advice and links with industry.
