As the Art Director for Florida Realtors® (a large trade association for the real estate industry), I have the opportunity to work on a variety of design projects such as advertising campaigns, corporate publications, logos, graphics for our convention, posters and more. However, the largest part of my time is dedicated to managing the design and production of our monthly trade publication, Florida Realtor magazine. I'm a one woman art department for Florida Realtor magazine. I develop all art concepts for the editorial, produce all editorial layouts, direct photoshoots, manage any freelance vendors and prepare the files for prepress. I also attend press checks on occasion and work with our printer on maintaining quality and efficiency in our printing process. While working with the Peace Education Foundation I designed and produced K-12 conflict resolution curriculum. This involved designing workbooks, posters and other print materials that teachers used in the classroom.
