Strategize and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of event positioning, goals and deliverables. Guide internal event partners, vendor services and other stakeholders to drive impeccable execution of vision to timelines. Manage $1 million-dollar budget across 10 departments. Create original content for marketing and visual merchandising of events; manage entire lifecycle of events for prospects, from research to event planning to event promotions to on-site event management to post-event reporting. Negotiate and contract venues, vendors and additional services; solicit sponsorships to drive revenue.

Delivered revenue expectations aligned with overall hotel budget. Actively prospected for new business and secured repeat events. Negotiated sales contracts for guest rooms and meeting spaces; handled F&B, room set up, AV, breakouts and event order generation. Conducted site experiences and entertained potential and existing clients. Implemented a sales action plan for the development of specific market segments. Developed strong working relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas. Provided weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Director of Sales.

Planned and executed all aspects of key business meetings and customer events, which included national sales conferences, incentive trips, advisory council meetings and golf outings. Managed all onsite logistics nationwide. Aggressively negotiated hotel, transportation and destination management company contracts. Performed site visits to assess each venue and made proper recommendations based on specific needs of each meeting. Provided cost analysis and post-meeting evaluations.
