In September 2019 after my second maternity leave I joined UHY Hacker Young's Kent office, based in Sittingbourne, in order to work closer to home and my two small children.I am a member of the UHY National Charity Group.

Working within the not-for-profit team at Moore Stephens I am a key member of the Charities and Education Sector Group. My client portfolio consists of charities and other not-for-profit organisations such as membership organisations and a small number of pension schemes.

Responsible for looking after the London office's charity and pension scheme clients, in addition to a number of owner managed businesses and membership organisations.

I worked within the Corporate Services department within the Canterbury office reporting directly to Audit Managers and Audit Partners.Manage own portfolio of around 35 clients, at controller level reporting to audit managers. My role included monitoring reporting deadlines to ensure they are met, involvement in billing, general administration of the client’s needs.Charities and other not for profit organisations (including ecclesiastical) accounted for around 60% of workload, including charitable groups with total incoming resources in excess of £10m.
