Helped manage the day-to-day logistics of running the school building. Assists to build a collaborative culture that has a foundation of trust and open forms of communication. Assists in the operations side by managing and working along the facilities staff to ensure the school is clean, sanitized, and ready for events that may occur on campus; works to certify that tickets and maintenance are corrected in a timely manner. Facilitates and coaches’ staff in the building on student data, content area sessions, literacy, classroom management, and pedagogical practices within the teacher’s classrooms. Implements and progress monitors educational programs that are being assigned or bought by the school to ensure student success, while creating short-term and long-term goals and recommendations for the activities of the programs. Evaluates staff performance through the observation cycle and guiding professional development plans and goals for teachers’ classrooms. Works with the Human Resource department and policies to hire certified and/or qualified staff throughout the building. Creates and facilitates new teacher orientations, professional developments, and help maintain certification for licensure. Sits alongside the Principal for staff disciplinary actions such as exit interviews or coach and counsels. Works to create the Master Schedule for Elementary and Middle School classrooms, that build in the law and policies for time needed for each subject area, once complete puts the appropriate coding and scheduling into PowerSchool. Manages and works alongside Enrollment specialist to guarantee student schedules are created, complete, and transfers are sent to the appropriate locations. Works with community partners to utilize the resources they provide for the school.

Middle School Literacy Coach- Instruct and work with the Middle School teachers to create lesson plans, reflect on data, and work on classroom management for a focus on student mastery and growth. Create agendas, take notes, and be organized for all pieces of working with Middle School Teachers on policies and expectations across the board. Develop a positive culture among teachers and students, organized field trips, and interventions for student behavior.AVID Coordinator- Plan and implement with all Middle School teachers the AVID curriculum and strategies within their classrooms. Lead professional developments and work with teachers on lesson plans that focus around the strategies of AVID. Build the site team and work with them on the four goals for our AVID curriculum that focus on four goals: Organization, WICOR, Communication, and College Awareness.K-8 Point Person- Work with our Principal Dr. Lopresti with the day to day logistics of our school. Updates the schools Facebook and Instagram accounts for students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders to see the positive and news related items that occur at Iredell Charter Academy. Manage our Panther of the Month, Honor Roll, Attendance incentives, and Over-Night Field Trips. Works with corresponding support staff to solve problems with student behavior and help with interventions and plans for students. Mentor: Works with a 1st and 2nd year teacher to help develop classroom management and lesson plans for successful student mastery.

Success by Design EIT1, moved to EIT2, Instruct and prepare differentiated lessons for three 7th grade Social Studies classes. Creates personalized learning curriculum and Document Based Questions (DBQ’s) that facilitate students reading, writing, and speaking in the Social Studies discipline. The focus for lessons are data driven, with a focus on student mastery and growth. Personalized and Digital Learning Coach- Coach and work with other teachers on creating a personalized classroom. We focus on classroom management, instructional design, and working with students on becoming their own learners. We use the different aspects of PDL with the Learner Profiles, Pathways/Playlist, and Reflecting with data. Professional Learning Community (PLC) Leader: create agendas; reflect on data of the 7th grade social teachers to improve lessons throughout the year. Lesson plan, unit plan and create lessons that are relevant to students and their learning in Social Studies.STEAM Committee Member- Works with fellow teachers to see that we as a school are meeting requirements for a STEAM based school. Plan STEAM activities for the school and continue to work to be the best STEAM school we can be. English Language Learner Committee- Works with a group of teachers to collect and analyze data for ELL students. Uses data to corrdinate professional developments for the staff and gives instruction on how to work with ELL students. International Field Trip Coordinator: Works to bring International Field Trips to the McClintock. Students have went to England, France, Switzerland, Germany, Costa Rica, Ireland, and Wales. Use material from the field trips to bring real life examples to the classroom and to help enrich other lesson plans.Social Studies Department Chair- Worked with group of Social Studies teachers to create and implement data based methods for teaching and learning
