I am the primary editor on our team for our Canterbury Classics series titles, and one of two editors for the Thunder Bay Press titles. My daily activities include: researching and developing content for our Canterbury Classics Word Cloud series and our collectible leather-bound series, typesetting our Canterbury Classics titles, editing originated Thunder Bay titles, design/layout for our puzzle book series, acquiring contracts for and managing freelancers, approving printer proofs, managing and editing third-party packaged projects, tracking budgets, proofreading, writing copy, sorting out the specs/costs for new titles, and other assigned tasks. For five years I also handled art direction for our Canterbury Classics covers, helped maintain information in our title management database, filed for and tracked copyright and CIP applications, and made sure the submissions were fulfilled and the paperwork archived after the books were printed. I've also organized archive files on our server, learned about converting books to ePub, proposed new products and titles, and written marketing copy.
