My 2017 National Fellowship project "Forgotten Voices" was honored with Dateline Award from the Washington, DC chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Provide strategic direction and advising to national nonprofit building a national movement to create a news literate society. Promote civic engagement by teaching students and the public to identify fact from fiction, opinion, advertising and propaganda. Conducted virtual classroom visits. Selected as one of four inaugural fellows to create a framework and training on transformative family engagement.
