As a multifaceted full time student and young professional, I am pursuing an English Major with a Writing Concentration and a Music Minor at Gettysburg College, where I maintain a 3.90 GPA (anticipated graduation December 2024). My academic and hands-on experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set in marketing, social media management, copywriting, content creation, and archival research.In my role as Marketing Manager at the Washington County Historical Society, I crafted and distributed weekly newsletters, optimized social media strategies, managed event promotions, and designed compelling graphics. At the WCHS I had the opportunity to cultivate an interest in development and secured a grant from the Nora Roberts Foundation in 2023 as well as successfully managed the 2022 and 2023 Washington County Gives Day of Giving campaigns.My intern experiences have included Archives & Curatorial work that honed my research and analytical skills. Additionally, as a Social Media Intern at Discovery Station, I managed the museum's Instagram presence, enhancing community engagement.Volunteerism is at the heart of my professional life. As a Social Media Volunteer for Children in Need and Habitat for Humanity, I have developed and implemented strategies to enhance Instagram presence and align public relations efforts with organizational values. My leadership role as Vice-Chair of the Hagerstown Youth Advisory Council involved providing feedback on city policies and managing social media content to advocate for youth initiatives.On campus, I am active in the Violin Studio and have performed with the Symphony Orchestra. As the Magazine Editor for The Gettysburgian, I edit, design, and publish the magazine. I am also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society.My work has been featured in publications such as The Herald Mail and The Gettysburgian.
