My primary focus is finding and attracting qualified applicants for open positions. I have experience reviewing resumes, focusing on skills matching up best to the requirements at hand and interviewing candidates. I assist with the onboarding process for new hires.

- Front desk reception, including answering phone/email communication, scheduling appointments, performing intake evaluations and obtaining health and behavior history from patients.- Maintain accurate patient files and medical records using Cornerstone. Perform transcription services for veterinarians. Document all correspondence with clients and vendors.- Prepare and monitor animals throughout surgery and recovery. Restrain animals for examinations and sample collection. Perform blood draws, give injections and place catheters. Run a variety of lab work for diagnostics.

- Manage appointment schedules and intake animals into the shelter, empathetically gathering health and behavior history and providing counseling to clients. Accurately update and maintain patient records and processing payments- Assist with euthanasia appointments, and administer medications and other treatments as prescribed. Monitor animals during recovery from surgery and ongoing stay in the shelter for any medical or behavioral issues that may arise. Collect samples and perform lab tests.- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the shelter. Work collaboratively with different teams throughout the shelter.

- Process animal adoptions in a timely manner while giving customers the history, education, and resources to ensure a successful adoption. Upsell merchandise to ensure the new owner is set up for success with their newpet.- Perform front desk administration, servicing incoming customers, answering phones, and managing cash registers.Assist and direct volunteers, and act a liaison between volunteers and staff.- Basic animal care, including cleaning kennels, taking animals on bathroom breaks, and refilling food and water.
