I am a retired teacher with 28 years of experience teaching high school level mathematics. I have an MEd in Instructional Technology and have experience teaching other faculty member how to use instructional software. I have used many instructional technologies, created instructional videos, and am certified for online instruction. I am proficient in Microsoft excel and Google Sheets. I have recently completed a 8 course professional certificate in Data Analysis through Google and am currently working on their Advanced Data Analysis Certificate. Through these courses, I gained a basic understanding of A/B testing, aggregating data, business strategy, data analysis, data cleaning, data driven decision-making, data ethics, data life cycle, data presentation, database management, google sheets, microsoft excel, organizing data, Python, r programming, rstudio, regression analysis, spreadsheets, sql queries, stakeholder management, structured data, Tableau dashboard creation, and unstructured data.Through the combination of teaching high school math and the data analysis courses I have developed the ability to think critically, create useful data visualization, create presentations, problem solve, utilize spreadsheets, and explain mathematical concepts in terms that non-technical individuals can understand.
