STR is the sole management company for the communities owned by Mr. Carmichael as well as those owned by Housing Preservation, Inc. By capitalizing on a network of hundreds of employees across the country, STR provides exceptional property management services for 57 communities; totaling 8,496 apartments homes for over 9,500 seniors and families.To provide the highest level of service, we are headquartered in Memphis, TN, centrally located to many of our communities. We manage both senior and family communitites designated with Project Based Section 8 Rental Assistance. Our management team is experienced in handling the complexities of the ever-changing arena of HUD compliance and regulations.
