Aviation Safety Analyst- Bird Aircraft/Animal Strike Hazard (BASH) Program Manager- Conducted Facility Safety Assessments USN/USMC shore-aviation-facilities, supervised two assessors. Provided direct feedback to CO's on safety climate and compliance in relation to the Airfield, Fuels, Crash, Salvage, BASH, Emergency Arresting Gear, Air Terminal and Air Traffic Control.- As DoN BASH Program Manager, routinely worked with Air Field Managers, USDA/APHIS (US Dept. of Agriculture/Animal Plant Health Protection Service) representatives, CNIC (Commander Installations Command) and the Smithson Institute on BASH identification and mitigation. Screened all USN/USMC world-wide BASH Reports.

- Responsible for the management, operation and accounting of a 3.5 million gallon underway facility to include preventative and corrective maintenance. - Supervised 90 personnel in daily operations and special evolutions involving the fuel system to include bulk receipt and off-load. At the time of this assignment, this was the oldest operational CVN facility.

- Managed training, qualification and assignment of 24 officers in shipboard anti-terrorism duties to include foreign port visits.

- Managed the safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the flight deck.- Responsible for the training and administration of more than 150 Sailors.

- Responsible for the training and administration of 80 personnel in the operation, maintenance, and fire fighting operations of the Hangar Deck. - Coordinated with multiple organizations in the planning and execution of foreign dignitary visits.

Department Head-Course Director CNATTU Whidbey Island Fire Fighting School- Led and managed a staff of nine instructors in Shipboard Aircraft Fire Fighting and Helicopter Team Trainer Courses. - Spearheaded the replacement and certification of a new $700K Kidde Mobile Aircraft Fire Fighting Trainer (MAFFTD) with no impact to course schedule. - Completed MTTs (Mobile Training Teams) to Okinawa, Texas and Louisiana.
