Genuine Dining Manager of the Year 2016On site General Manager for the Genuine Dining Company, contract caterer at Norwich Research Park incorporating John Innes Centre, Institute of Food Research, The Sainsbury Laboratory, The Genome Analyis Centre, Centrum & Innovation Centre. Managing the business of six outlets on site ranging from coffee shop environments to full staff canteens. Catering for a population of up to 2000 clients per day. Daily liaising with the client and business managers on site, attending committee meetings on a regular basis to gather feedback and involve the client on moving forward with the catering offering. Responsible for all the catering requirements for on site hospitality including internal meetings and external conferences and events of up to 500 clients, working closely with Head Chef and Kitchen team.Producing Hospitality Menus for both Internal and external events, and producing a fresh hospitality brochure as a sales tool. Designing menus and theme days such as Halloween, Summer BBQs and Christmas events. Responsible for a team of 24 staff, including HR issues and wages informationProducing accurate weekly returns and financial reports for Head Office and Directors, in addition to producing a Genuine Dining Group Financial report each week. Weekly stock taking, order and invoice processing whilst working to targets set.Banking and cash handling of over £6k per average week. EDI system “Gatekeeper” for Genuine Dining Group, involving the management and training of ordering, stock control and financial control system .Full understanding of Internet Till systems including the use of IPad till platform.Managing Health and Safety records, including HCCAP and in house staff training modules.
