About Tracy Murchison

I began my career in 1999 as a payroll clerk with Hostess Brands, a national company in the bakery industry, preparing payroll for 1100+ employees in the Rocky Mount plant. I was promoted to Payroll manager in 2003 over the payroll and route accounting clerks at the plant level and again promoted in 2008 as an Assistant District Manager covering 18 stores and 50+ employees over three states. During the last 12 years I have worked closely with the Human Resources department and individual employees to successfully solve issues using my extensive knowledge of the labor/union contracts and Kronos timekeeper system.The company went through bankruptcy and reduced the Assistant District Manager position and then later closed the Rocky Mount Plant.I was then placed by Robert Half/Account Temps to the Valspar Mooresville office. The position has now been moved to the corporate location in Chicago.Beginning in November I will once again be seeking a position in payroll where I look forward to continuing my career.
