Provided full range of legal services in domestic relations matters including divorce, property division, alimony, child support, custody, visitation, guardianship, protection from abuse, and termination of parental rights and adoption; conducted real estate refinance settlements for major lending institution; handled debt collection cases for large consumer lending institution.

Draft court orders regarding matters ancillary to divorce, child custody, visitation, and support; draft court opinions for Review of Commissioner Orders; utilize "FAMIS" and "Divorce Planner" technology programs to calculate child support and alimony awards; observe numerous Family Court proceedings; conduct legal research on family law issues and draft legal memoranda.

Conducted legal research for the criminal, civil, and fraud divisions; wrote internal office memoranda on a variety of legal topics; drafted an appellate brief, summary judgment motion, and a response to a post-conviction relief motion; conducted complex document review; accompanied deputies to observe numerous court hearings and jury trials.

Investigated child abuse and neglect complaints; conducted perpetrator, witness, and victim interviews; collaborated with local law enforcement agencies; prepared narrative assessments and reports on child welfare; testified at court hearings regarding child abuse and neglect investigations. I also held this position part-time during my second year of law school from January 2008 - August 2008.

Implemented the Cabinet Secretary's state-wide department policy directives by drafting internal memoranda and participating on various state-level committees; engaged in quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis of the state-wide System of Care training program; served as Site Coordinator for the City of Wilmington Community Youth Mapping Project; co-chaired the Delaware Partnership for Positive Youth Development; supervised an Americorps Volunteer; created and administered a seven-week "Excellence in Leadership" program for incarcerated male juveniles.
