Tracy Y. Williamson, a native of Chicago, IL, has worked in the music industry for over 20 years as a record label executive, artist consultant, publicist, artist manager, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and radio host. A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Business/Marketing, and a Masters of Business Administration M.B.A. from Anderson University, Tracy Williamson began her career in the music industry in 2000, working for national gospel label, Tyscot Records, where Tracy served as marketing, A&R, and label director. In 2007, Tracy founded TRE7 Entertainment, which provides management, artist development, publicity, and marketing and consultation services. As a consultant, she has served on several music industry panels across the country.As a leader and entrepreneur, Tracy’s story has been featured on WGN-TV – People to People, TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), MTV, Chicago Public Radio, and in Ebony Magazine as one of the Top 30 Leaders of the Future, as well as being featured in several other publications. Tracy was also awarded the Outstanding Alumni of the Year award from Northern Illinois University. Tracy is also the owner of Peppers Cuisine & Flavor, a food service business. Tracy’s music industry experience has afforded her the opportunity to work for BET (Black Entertainment Television), A Celebration of Gospel and BET Awards, and The Allstate Gospel Superfest Television Show. Tracy is currently the Program Director for WYCA Rejoice 102.3 FM (Chicago, IL), and has hosted radio segments on On Stage with Earl Bynum on Rejoice Musical Soulfood (syndicated), and WWWE 1100 AM radio (Atlanta, GA).
